Three alleged illegal aliens are behind bars and may be deported after they got their vehicle stuck in Sibley.

The Siouxland Conference Wrestling Tournament was held at Sioux Center Friday night. The team title went to Boyden Hull Rock Valley who amassed 228.5 team points. Next was MOC Floyd Valley at 164 followed by Sheldon South O’Brien at 161. Central Lyon George Little Rock was fourth at 158 and Sibley Ocheyedan rounded out the top five with 136 points. Okoboji followed with 135 points. Sioux Center was next at 108 then West Lyon with 44.5 team points.

The road to the State Tournament begins Saturday February 4th for wrestlers across the state with the sectional round of tournament action. Sheldon South O’Brien wrestlers will compete at Rock Valley on Saturday the 4th. Joining the Orabs will be Boyden Hull Rock Valley, Central Lyon George Little Rock, Sioux Center and Spirit Lake. The top two individuals advance to the District Tournament on Saturday February 12th at Cherokee.

Starting time for the sectional and district round will be 12 noon.
