Hospers, Iowa — A northwest Iowa telecommunications company is having some issues.

HTC Communications, based in Hospers serves a number of communities in northwest Iowa. They advise that while their Internet service is working fine, the HTC telephone lines are experiencing a system-wide outage at this time.

According to HTC officials, a net router affecting only their telephone service went out on Sunday. Technicians have been working on the problem Sunday night into Labor Day. They say they are working to have the issue resolved and restore telephone service to their customers as soon as possible.

Also, KIWA’s main and studio numbers are down. In the meantime if you need to contact us email us at newstips@kiwaradio.com.
