Sibley, Iowa — A consignment boutique that has been in business in Sibley has outgrown their original store location and will be celebrating a Grand Reopening at their new, larger location this Friday.

Mindy Nasers is the owner of Grace Boutique in Sibley, and she tells us she opened in her original location about two-and-a-half years ago.

She cites the lack of shopping opportunities as a motivator for her to open the original store, and tells us how the shop came about.

Nasers says her business outgrew the original location in short order. So, earlier this year, with the support of Sibley’s Revolving Loan Fund, she was able to purchase a much larger building in downtown Sibley. She says she and her husband began remodeling the building and soon discovered that it was going to cost more than she had planned on. At that point, Nasers says, she approached Osceola County Economic Development to secure funds from their Revolving Loan Fund to help finance the remodeling project.

Nasers says she has received tremendous support from throughout the community, with numerous people volunteering to help, including a group of tradespeople who spent Labor Day assisting with her remodeling project.

She says that now, after being closed for a week to facilitate the moving process, the Grand Reopening of Grace Boutique, in its new location at 250 9th Street in Sibley, will take place this Friday.

Nasers expressed her tremendous gratitude to all who’ve helped prepare the new building, as well as to all those in the Sibley area who have shown her support and helped her business grow over the past two-and-a-half years.
