Carter Brouwer, of Sibley, has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College.

Brouwer is a 6’4″ point guard / shooting guard who has played two years for Sibley-Ocheyedan High School heading into his senior season. Brouwer led the Generals in scoring as a junior, averaging 13.3 points per game, in earning all-conference honors. He pulled down 5.5 rebounds per game, dished out 32 assists and made 31 three-pointers. An honor roll student, Brouwer plans to study Chemistry at Northwestern and is the son of Jerrad and Tracee.

“Carter is a quality young man and a very good athlete,” said Northwestern Head Coach Kris Korver. “He is a leader and a great fit for our program and Northwestern College. We think Carter’s best days of basketball are in front of him and we are excited to see him positively impact Northwestern basketball and our campus.”
