An alleged illegal alien living in Sibley has been arrested on false information and licensing charges.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports they arrested 25-year-old Aurelio Garduno-Garduno of Sibley for the offenses of Driving While Suspended (a Simple Misdemeanor), Providing False Information (a Simple Misdemeanor), and Failure to File SR-22 high-risk Insurance (a Simple Misdemeanor).
An Osceola County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an alleged equipment violation. During the stop Garduno-Garduno allegedly provided the Deputy with false information. A check of Garduno-Garduno’s driving record showed him to have a suspended Driver’s License.
Garduno-Garduno is currently being held in the Osceola County Jail on a $990 cash bond and on an Immigration & Customs Enforcement detainer.
