Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley woman will spend 60 days in jail, and serve both a suspended prison term and probation after she was found guilty of felony theft and misdemeanor forgery.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that they determined that from April 2008 through June 2011, 56-year-old Debra Jeddeloh of Sibley falsified documents and misappropriated funds belonging to a female victim and cashed them.

Jeddeloh pled guilty to 2nd Degree Theft , a Class ā€œDā€ Felony; and Forgery, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

She is to pay a fine of $425, court costs, restitution of any court-appointed attorney fees, and any victim restitution. On the Theft charge, Jeddeloh was sentenced to a suspended 5-year prison term and will serve three years’ probation. On the Forgery charge, she was sentenced to 60 days in the Osceola County Jail.
