A storm system will move across the northern plains Thursday and Thursday night and will produce widespread snow across the region. Snowfall amounts Thursday and Thursday night will vary from 2 to 3 inches north of Interstate 90, to 3 to 5 inches to the south.

We’ll have further details about this upcoming winter storm later today.
