A funeral service will take place 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ocheyedan, Iowa with Reverend Richard Milbrandt, officiating.

Visitation will take place Monday, February 27th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home Andringa Chapel in Ocheyedan.

Charles “Charlie” Verplank, age 73 of Hartley, IA, passed away at his home in Hartley on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hartley Funeral Home Chapel in Hartley. There are no formal visitation hours scheduled.

Burial with military honors will take place at 9:15 a.m., prior to the service on Saturday at Harrison Township Cemetery near May City, IA.
